What we collect

• What you type into our forms. For a snapshot request that is your business name, website, city, the phrase a customer would search, your work email and your name. Six required fields, plus one optional question about how you heard of us. We do not ask for a phone number.
• How you arrived. Referring site, landing page, and advertising click identifiers if you came from an ad. We use this to know which channels work.
• Usage analytics via Google Analytics. Advertising storage stays denied and we run no advertising tags. Analytics storage is granted for every visitor: we work from Ohio with US businesses, and we do not run a consent banner today, so there is no prior permission step. If you would rather not be counted, any tracker blocker prevents it, and you can ask us to delete what we hold. Pages that carry a private link, your intake form and your report, load no analytics and no third-party script at all.
• Publicly available information about your business, which is the service itself: what your website publishes, your public directory profiles, and what AI assistants say about your category.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information. Not to anyone, at any price.
• We do not load Facebook or Meta tracking on this site. Many of the people we work with are in law and medicine and that would be inappropriate.
• We do not buy contact lists.
• We do not collect special category data. Do not send us client or patient information. We do not need it and we do not want it.

Email

If you request a snapshot we email you the snapshot, and afterwards occasional notes about AI search. One follow-up if you do not reply, then we stop. Every commercial email carries a working unsubscribe link and our postal address, and we honour opt-outs the same day.

If we email you without you asking first, that message will say plainly who we are, why we are writing, and how to make it stop. Reply STOP to any message and you will not hear from us again from any of our addresses.

How long we keep things

Sampled AI answers and audit data are kept for as long as you are a client and for two years afterwards, because re-deriving a figure from a stored sample is how we answer questions about our own numbers later. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

The record of how you first arrived, which your browser stores rather than us, is discarded after 90 days.

Getting your data, or getting rid of it

Email [email protected] and ask. We will tell you what we hold, send you a copy, correct it, or delete it. No forms, no process, no fee. If you ask us to delete something we will confirm when it is done.

Third parties we use

Payment processing, email delivery, form handling, analytics, scheduling, and the data providers we use to sample AI answers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not name our sampling vendors publicly, but we will tell any client who asks.
